What is The PharmaPak?
The PharmaPak is the newest and greatest way to dispense and pre-package
your medications. This unique packaging option provides you with a safer, more organized and easier to understand way to take your medications. The PharmaPak helps cut down on medication errors and eliminates having to spend time pre-packaging your own medications. All the sorting and organizing is done for you here at PharmaHealth Pharmacy, LTC.
Your medications are dispensed through a computerized order-processing machine, which assures the highest level of accuracy. You can feel even more confident that you are always receiving all the medications you need.
How Are My Medications Dispensed With The PharmaPak?
The PharmaPak consists of 30-days worth of individually sealed pouches, which are attached to each other within one long strip. For packaging convenience, the strip is contained within a small cardboard box. Each individual pouch contains all the medications you need to take at each time of day and is set up for continuous, consecutive doses. Simply tear each pouch from the strip, as it is time to take those medications, and then tear the jagged edge of the pouch to open it.
Example: You take medications 3-times per day.
Your PharmaPak Set-up: The first packet will contain all your morning medications, the second
packet all your noon medications, followed by all your evening medications and then all your next morning’s medications and so on.
What Are Your Custom Packaging Options?
If our standard packaging (see description above) doesn’t meet the specific needs of one of our patients we have many custom options available. We are able to assist patients who attend day care, have a large quantity of medications or visually impaired.

Your medications can be divided up into 2 or more boxes, separating them by time of day. (You would have 30-days of morning medications in one box and 30-days of evening medications in a second box, etc.)
Time of Day Stickers Can Be Placed On The Box:
- Morning
- Noon
- Day Care
- Evening
- Bedtime

Sun (Morning) and Moon (Evening) Stickers can also be placed on The PharmaPak box to further help designate the time of day the medications in that box are to be taken.
How Do I Know I Am Taking The Right Medications?
Each individual pouch is labeled with the following information:
- Patient's Name
- Date, Day and Time to Take Medication
- Names of each Medication inside each packet
- Medication Dosage
- Quantity of each Medication
